“Wonder Woman” is doing wonders at the box office and has raked in $230 million worldwide. It is still going strong and is expected to smash a few more records in the coming days. Director Patty Jenkins took some time out to thank fan support and making the film a big success.
Actress Gal Gadot took to Facebook and posted a video thanking her fans. Dressed in a peppy t-shirt and goggles the star was looking happy with her film’s success. Jenkins also thanked Wonder Woman fans on Twitter and wrote a big and sincere Thank You.
Before her avatar as Wonder Woman, she was Diana, the bronzed Princess of Amazon and was an indomitable warrior. When a plane with an American pilot crashes on the shores, she becomes aware that there is the world other than hers and war is raging in the outside world. Diana leaves the security of her home with the man to fight the evil forces of the world. In the course of time, she will become aware of her real powers and her true destiny.

The film is directed by Patty Jenkins with a screenplay by Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns. The film is based on characters based on DC Entertainment comics. The concept of Wonder Woman was created by William Moulton Marston.
The audience got the taste of the first major female superhero onscreen after a long time, and in the process, the audience was also treated with supporting characters and a love interest which are a rarity in any superhero flick.
